Base of Yukovo is located 800 km from Saint-Petersburg.

Crossing to the base of Yukovo is 50 km from Belomorsk by sea. The base is a wooden house to accommodate up to 14 people. There are 2—3 beds in each room. All in all there are 7 rooms. The house has stove-heating, a big dining-room. There also is a toilet with convenience in the house and one outside, a bath-house. Electricity is supplied by a generator and isn’t constant.

The base is located on the place of a deserted village on the coast of the small picturesque bay of the White Sea. Hunting is possible not far from the base: in spring April,20 May,15 on bear, black-cock and wood-grouse’s mating-places, on duck of different kinds including sea-ducks. In autumn you can hunt on hare with beagles, on hazel-grouse, black-cock, wood-grouse, duck, elk and bear. In autumn hunting on bear here is more complicated than in spring. In the sea you can see belugas, cetaceans, sea-hares, different kinds of seals. In summer and autumn hunting on sea-fish is possible.

From September, 20—25 to October, 5—15 (depends on weather) we can organize wonderful hunting on black-cropped eider and kazarka that appear here at specific places on the sea-coast. Living on the ship is agreed (depends on the number of hunters and kind of hunting). However, you should mean that cost of transportation to the base is high because ships and cross-country vehicles are used.

Base of Sumozero

Sumozero, as well as Pulozero, Korosozero is located on the territory of hunting farm named (Vorenzha OOO «Pomorsky Bereg»). Both Sumozero and Pulozero are the most picturesque places of Karelia. These two lakes are connected by the river Suma which falls into the Baltic Sea. The group is met at the station or at the entrance to Belomorsk and transported to the lake by vehicle UAZ. The distance is 115 km from Belomorsk. Living in winter hut (2 people in a hut) without any convenience. The toilet is in the yard, the bath-house — on the coast of the lake. The place, not touched by civilization is very beautiful and far from villages and towns. On the base there are boats with hung foreign engine, cross-country vehicles and experienced guides.

A group consists of 4 people (no more). Hunting lands in these places are rich with games (wood-grouse, black-cock, hazel-grouse) and hunting on bear from tower is possible from April,20 to May,15. Food is simple but it’s possible to discuss the menu beforehand as it’s necessary to bring food to the base. You can fish pike, pike perch, ide. In August and September you can fish salmon in the river of Suma.
